Recently, I was asked to to do an assignment listing four online tools to enhance your productivity. So, compiled a list of 4 free online tools that I find the average user would find useful.
DropBox - Free file hosting
DropBox is file hosting service that allows you to upload and store files. These files can be accessed from a web browser even your smart phone. Not only can you save documents to this area, but pictures, videos and any other electronic information you want to share with others.
Jing - Video and Image capture software
This next one is a software that has an online element to it. Jing is absolutely free and the ease of use is amazing. It provides free online storage from Screencast and unlimited image and video capture powers. Jing is different from all other screen-capture softwares as it is designed to share images and movies with people quickly and easily while chatting or emailing, to help you get a point across.
WolfRamAlpha - Computational Knowledge Engine
WolframAlpha is a Mathematical application that can be used to solve almost every math question in Algebra, Calculus, Plane Geometry, and Trigonometry, if you only know the right commands to use. From basic mathematics to advanced calculus, statistics, physics and other topics, WolframAlpha is an excellent tool to have in your pocket. One interesting factor about Wolfram is it doesn’t only calculate a complicated question, it also shows you the steps it used in arriving at the answer.

imgur pronounced "imager" It's a simple photo sharing site which accepts your images in unlimited numbers and stores them in albums, and allows you to pass the address links on to your friends and family. It also encourages you to post on social services such as Reddit and Stumble Upon, Twitter and of course Facebook.
